Hyundai Santa Fe Boot Dimensions in cm

Model information
The Hyundai Santa Fe is a mid-size SUV, known for its versatility and comfort. The latest range offers a modern design, advanced technologies and a wide range of safety features. The Santa Fe is aimed at families and active people who value space and comfort in both urban driving and longer journeys. The equipment includes, among other things, an intuitive infotainment system, high-quality materials in the cabin and a range of powertrain options, including hybrid variants.
Variants in the same lineup
The Hyundai Santa Fe is offered in several trim levels, including the standard version, the Sport version and the Hybrid version. However, there are no other body styles such as a saloon or convertible that could be mistaken for the Santa Fe, as it is designed exclusively as an SUV. The different trim levels mainly differ in terms of equipment and the available technologies.
Model year differences
Over the years the Hyundai Santa Fe has undergone several model changes that affected the body dimensions and boot space. The most significant changes came in 2018 with the introduction of the fourth generation, which brought larger overall dimensions and increased boot space. Previously, in the third generation (2013–2018), boot space was smaller and offered less flexibility. These changes were made to better meet customers’ needs and to strengthen the competition in the SUV segment.
Direct competition
In the same price range and size as the Hyundai Santa Fe, there are models such as the Ford Edge, the Nissan Murano and the Toyota RAV4. The Ford Edge offers a boot capacity of around 602 litres, which is somewhat less than the Santa Fe. The Nissan Murano has a boot capacity of around 1,400 litres with the rear seats folded, which makes it competitive in this respect. The Toyota RAV4 also offers a boot capacity of around 1,100 litres, making it an attractive alternative, though it does not quite match the Santa Fe’s flexibility.
More affordable alternatives
For buyers looking for similar boot space at a lower price, models such as the Dacia Duster or the Skoda Kodiaq could be considered. The Dacia Duster offers boot space of around 478 litres, which is smaller but remains very attractive for its price range. The Skoda Kodiaq, on the other hand, offers boot space of up to 835 litres, making it an excellent, more affordable alternative that still offers plenty of room. Both models are worth considering if budget plays a key role.
