The Mazda MX-5 offers a boot space of around 130 litres, which is close to that of the Boxster, but provides less storage. The Fiat 124 Spider has a similar volume, but is generally cheaper to buy. These models offer a sporty driving feel, but with compromises in performance and equipment compared with the Porsche Boxster.
