Kia e-Soul Boot Space + Dimensions

Kia e-Soul Boot Dimensions in cm

Model information

The Kia e-Soul is a compact electric city car that stands out for its distinctive design and innovative technologies. The latest range offers a combination of efficiency, comfort and a high level of practicality. With an electric drive system, the e-Soul is not only environmentally friendly but also optimised for urban use. The equipment includes modern infotainment systems, safety features and an appealing interior design.

Variants of the same range

The Kia e-Soul is offered in several trim levels, which differ in terms of performance, equipment and price. There are, however, no additional body styles such as a saloon or a convertible within the e-Soul range. The e-Soul remains a hatchback, which sets it apart from other Kia models such as the Kia Ceed or the Kia Stinger.

Model year differences

The Kia e-Soul was unveiled in 2019 in its current form. Since then there have been some adjustments to the equipment and technology, but the body dimensions and boot capacity have remained largely constant. Earlier models, such as the first generation of the e-Soul, showed significant differences in dimensions, which also affected boot capacity. The latest generation, however, offers improved space utilisation.

Direct rivals

In the same class, the Kia e-Soul competes with the Nissan Leaf and the Hyundai Kona Electric, among others. The Nissan Leaf offers a boot capacity of approximately 435 litres, which makes it superior in this respect. The Hyundai Kona Electric, on the other hand, has a boot capacity of around 332 litres, which makes it somewhat roomier than the e-Soul, though not as much as the Leaf. These differences can be decisive for buyers who value boot space.

Cheaper alternatives

Cheaper models with similar boot capacities are the Dacia Sandero and the Skoda Fabia. The Dacia Sandero offers a boot capacity of around 328 litres, while the Skoda Fabia reaches around 380 litres. These models are generally cheaper to buy, but do not offer the same electric drive technology as the Kia e-Soul. Buyers looking for good value for money might consider these alternatives.
