Model information

The Polestar 1 is a plug-in hybrid coupe, developed by the Swedish brand Polestar, a subsidiary of Volvo. The model combines sporty design with sustainable technology and offers impressive performance. The Polestar 1 is equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine and two electric motors, which together develop a system output of 609 PS and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm. The combination of the internal combustion and electric motors enables an electric-only range of up to 150 km, which is remarkable for a coupé of this class.

Line-up variants

The Polestar 1 is offered as an exclusive coupé and has no other variants such as a saloon or convertible within the same model range. However, Polestar offers other models such as the Polestar 2, which is designed as a fully electric saloon. These models differ significantly in body style and technical specifications, making confusion unlikely.

Model year differences

The Polestar 1 was first introduced in 2017, and there were no significant changes to the body dimensions or boot capacity up to its production end in 2021.
