Polestar Polestar 1 Boot Dimensions in cm

Model information
The Polestar 1 is a plug-in hybrid coupe, developed by the Swedish brand Polestar, a subsidiary of Volvo. The model combines sporty design with sustainable technology and offers impressive performance. The Polestar 1 is equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine and two electric motors, which together develop a system output of 609 PS and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm. The combination of the internal combustion and electric motors enables an electric-only range of up to 150 km, which is remarkable for a coupé of this class.
Line-up variants
The Polestar 1 is offered as an exclusive coupé and has no other variants such as a saloon or convertible within the same model range. However, Polestar offers other models such as the Polestar 2, which is designed as a fully electric saloon. These models differ significantly in body style and technical specifications, making confusion unlikely.
Model year differences
The Polestar 1 was first introduced in 2017, and there were no significant changes to the body dimensions or boot capacity up to its production end in 2021. The basic dimensions remained constant, which means buyers across different model years can expect similar boot capacities. However, future models could bring changes in the body shape and, consequently, in boot volume.
Direct rivals
In the same price range and size there are several comparable models, such as the BMW i4 and the Audi e-tron GT. The BMW i4 offers a boot capacity of around 470 litres, which is noticeably more space than the Polestar 1. The Audi e-tron GT also has a boot capacity of around 405 litres. These differences make the rival models more attractive in terms of storage space for buyers who value greater cargo capacity.
More affordable alternatives
For buyers looking for a similar boot space to the Polestar 1 but with a smaller budget, models such as the Volkswagen Golf or Ford Focus could be considered. The Volkswagen Golf offers a boot space of around 380 litres, while the Ford Focus, at around 375 litres, is also a good option. Both models are typically more affordable and offer greater flexibility when transporting luggage and other items.
